Usage

The NCB Network Combiner is a member of

CTI Product's family of WON™ Wide

Operating Network devices that, when used

in pairs, allows multiple LONWORKS

networks to be connected in real-time,

spanning distances from local area to

worldwide.

Features

 NCB Router and Modem connects

multiple LonWorks Networks together

using:

 Dial-up PSTN circuit – switched &

unswitched

 2 wire / 4 wire leased line

 Microwave / RF

 PBX circuits / campus-wide phone

wiring

 Uses LONWORKS Router technology

 Full LONWORKS system

interoperability is maintained.

 Supports all LONTALK protocol

message services.

 Configured with standard LONWORKS

network management tools.

 Subnet and group segmentation can

be used to maximize network

performance.

 Fully Interoperable Peer-to-Peer

Communication Via Telephone Lines

 Any node can communicate with any

other node, regardless of the location

of each.

 No custom hardware or complex

custom software to write, debug, or

maintain.

 No system node application code

changes needed.
